The Max Planck Florida Foundation today announced that Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest business law firms, will underwrite the construction of a conference room in the Max Planck Florida Institute’s (MPFI) new 100,000-sq.-ft. biomedical research facility on Florida Atlantic University’s MacArthur campus in Jupiter. The new building, which is scheduled to open this summer, is designed to accommodate nearly 58,000-sq.-ft. of laboratory space, three research wings and a 100-seat auditorium. (March 7, 2012) – The Max Planck Florida Institute (MPFI) announced today that Duke University neuroscientist Ryohei Yasuda, PhD will join the Institute as Scientific Director of the Neuronal Signal Transduction Research Group.
