PC Professor, a Microsoft IT Academy, has been approved by the State of Florida to offer a training grant which will cover 50% or more of a company’s training expense.
Moreover, PC Professor is willing to match the State’s generous grant for an additional training scholarship to be used in 2013.
To be eligible, the firm in need of employee training must have a physical presence in South Florida. Retail activities, utilities, extraction or processing businesses, non-profits and activities regulated by the Division of Hotels and Restaurants are statutorily excluded from consideration. There is a 6 student minimum and a $50,000 maximum award from the State.
All classes are conducted in a hands-on manner with a live instructor and are continuously offered at PC Professor locations in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. The grant can be applied against the cost of courseware as well as the corresponding national certification exams. There are no hidden fees and courses can be scheduled at your convenience on a daytime, evening or weekend basis.
The following certification-based preparatory classes are eligible under this job growth program:
. Computer Repair (A+/Network+) (160 Hours)
. Microsoft MCSE (MCITP:Enterprise Server 2008) (240 Hours)
. Microsoft MCSD (MCTS .NET Framework) (216 Hours)
. Microsoft MCDBA (MCITP: Database Administrator) (160 Hours)
. Microsoft MCTS: SQL 2008 (80 Hours)
. Cisco CCNA (64 Hours)
. CIW Web Design (160 Hours)
. VMWare (Hours Vary Between Modules)
