Florida Atlantic University’s Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) racing team recently ranked eighth in the acceleration test among more than 100 participants at the 2013 Formula SAE®,  at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich.

South Florida resident Patricia A. Riley was elected to Northwood University’s Board of Trustees on May 17 during its annual meeting.

In 2009, Northwood University honored Riley with the Outstanding Business Leader Award and in 2010 she received an honorary doctorate of laws degree at Northwood Florida’s graduation ceremony. She previously was a member of the Northwood University Florida Board of Governors.
