DEAL WORKED: Mueller Industries, which created 12 jobs and leased 6,600 s.f. of space on the 8th floor of CityPlace Tower in West Palm Beach.
"It was just about a year ago, last July when I was introduced to Mueller Industries and was told of a business retreat they were having at the new Downtown Hilton. After discussion with Jack Treas, Sr. Vice President, we were invited to attend one of their meetings and given the opportunity to pitch the merits of conducting business and quality of life in the Palm Beaches. I immediately contacted Gary Hines, Senior Vice President at the BDB and let him know about the meeting and asked if he could be available to help pitch Mueller Industries. Gary, wisely included Marty Cass, Tax Partner at BDO, to help answer questions.
The BDB provided excellent materials and were able to answer important questions about schools, business climate and taxes. From here, it was a simple matter of finding the right office space to fit their image and needs. The International Sales headquarters for Mueller Industries is now located in 6,600 square feet on the 8th floor at City Place Towers 525 Okeechobee Blvd West Palm Beach.

DEAL WORKED: Cresset Wealth Advisors, which created 40 jobs and leased 7,759 s.f. on the 16th floor of CityPlace Tower in West Palm Beach.
This new office will mark Cresset’s first expansion outside of Chicago, growth that could lead to 35-40 high-paying executives working in the space. Rob Hamman’s team with SVN Florida was hired to find the best office space available in West Palm Beach for Cresset Wealth Advisors in November 2017.
"When I contacted the BDB to let them know we were working with a major financial services firm to find a location in West Palm Beach, the BDB already knew and were working with Cresset. Kelly Smallridge was in discussions with one of the principals of Cresset since 2014.
After deciding on the building, Kelly and her staff helped with some of the lease issues and were instrumental with expedited permitting and additional services. It is a great benefit to be able to tell clients that are looking for space that they have the BDB on their team to get things done."
