The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) is pleased to announce that Johnson Development Associates, Inc. (JDA), a multi-division real estate developer based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, has acquired an industrial site in Riviera Beach. The company will construct a 120,282 sq. ft. light industrial building located at 1301 President Barack Obama Highway, which will have a capital investment of approximately $10 million into the local economy.

Last year, 100 pages worth of data were presented to stakeholders throughout the county after the launch of a comprehensive workforce study, funded by J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Strides Pharma will occupy the full 90,000 sq. ft. facility and employ 150 people. The company plans to invest over $10 million into the local economy.

PALM BEACH COUNTY AEROSPACE HUB ATTRACTS NEW COMPANY

August 7, 2019, PALM BEACH COUNTY – CYIENT Defense Services, an engineering and technology company, worked with the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) to tap into the local aerospace industry, resulting in an expansion that will support the sector through machining of precision aerospace hardware and engineering services. CYIENT plans to create 50 new jobs in addition to its current work force of 150 with an average salary of $85,000. Located at 15300 Park of Commerce Blvd in Unincorporated Jupiter, it has invested over $3.5 million into its new 30,000 sq. ft. facility.
