PBC Black Business Investment Corporation (BBIC)
The BBIC is a not-for-profit organization organized by the financial and business community in the county. It provides business loan guarantees, bonding, equity capital, job opportunities and other business services to qualified businesses owned by black citizens that cannot obtain financing through other sources. The BBIC also provides training and educational programs in cooperation with many other organizations.

Gold Coast Venture Capital Association
The Gold Coast Venture Capital Association was founded in the fall of 1984 as a not-for-profit corporation to assist the entrepreneurial community of South Florida. A dedicated group of business executives, professionals and entrepreneurs have been involved since the early stages helping the Association develop and realize its potential. Although the Association does no direct funding or matching of investors with those seeking funding, it develops and presents monthly programs which are designed to provide information and assistance to start-up, emerging and established growth companies while offering a unique venue for investors and investees to come together. Today the Association is recognized within the State of Florida and nationally as one of the most successful venture capital clubs in the country. The Board of Directors continues to develop new programs and to build upon existing programs to assist start-up and emerging-growth companies.

Florida First Capital Finance Corporation (FFCFC)
FFCFC is chartered for the primary purpose of advancing the economic development and general welfare of the citizens of Florida by promoting and assisting the growth and development of small business concerns within the state. It was founded by the State of Florida and licensed since 1984 by Small Business Administration (SBA) as Florida’s Statewide Certified Development Company.

New World Angels
New World Angels (NWA) is a group of private investors dedicated to providing equity capital to early-stage entrepreneurial companies in the state of Florida. NWA has chapters in South Florida and the Tampa Bay area and is typically a lead or co-investor in transactions totaling between $0.5 million and $2.5 million. Members of NWA have extensive experience in founding, building, and managing companies in a wide variety of industries. In addition to providing funding, NWA members make their expertise and resource networks available to portfolio companies. NWA works closely with other regional and national venture firms. In addition, it is supported by such leading institutions as The Enterprise Development Corporation, Florida Atlantic University, and Florida International University.

Angel Forum of Florida
Angel Forum of Florida is a not-for-profit organization that facilitates interaction between individual investors and local entrepreneurs through member networking and its monthly meetings and presentations. "Angel Investors" are private individuals or groups of private individuals who invest in emerging and expanding companies. The level of investment is typically in the range $50,000-$2,000,000. Local entrepreneurs are in constant demand of financial and executive resources to help start and/or grow their businesses. The Angel Forum of Florida, formerly known as AIFFL, was established in the fall of 2005 to facilitate the interaction between local entrepreneurs (opportunities) and Angel Investors (resources) and to help promote business growth in Florida.

Florida Opportunity Fund
Legislation passed by Florida Legislature in 2007, which created Sections 288.9621-288.9625 of the Florida Statutes, collectively referred to as the Florida Capital Formation Act, provided for the creation of the Florida Opportunity Fund (FOF or the Fund), initially as a fund of funds program that invests in venture capital funds. In 2009, The Florida Legislature expanded the Florida Opportunity Fund’s mandate under the Florida Capital Formation Act to create direct investment programs that invest in businesses and infrastructure projects. The Florida Opportunity Fund is sponsored by Enterprise Florida and is managed by Florida First Partners (FFP). The Florida Opportunity Fund officially launched its fund of funds program in 2008, and its direct investment program, the Clean Energy Investment Program, in 2010.

Florida Growth Fund
The Florida Growth Fund was established in 2009 to enhance Florida’s capacity for development, growth and innovation. Center for Enterprise Opportunity - Formerly known as Business Loan Fund of The Palm Beaches, Inc
The Center for Enterprise Opportunity (CEO) is a private, non-profit corporation.  The mission is to improve the economies in distressed communities by lending to small businesses and sponsors of community development incentives which benefit low- and moderate-income persons.  As a non-traditional lender, the CEO raises capital from public and private investors, e.g. government, banks, individuals, corporations, and philanthropic organizations, and then deploys these funds primarily for lending to small businesses and community development entities.  By providing the extensive technical assistance that conventional lenders can’t afford to offer, CEO helps its borrowers resolve business issues and achieve their business goals.

Florida Business Development Corporation
The FBDC is the Certified Development Corporation (CDC) authorized by the Small Business Administration to provide 504 financing for real estate purposes. The FBDC provides fixed-asset financing (primarily for real estate acquisition) to qualified businesses in conjunction with participating banks.

Florida Venture Forum
The goal of the Forum is to help ensure the success of entrepreneurial ventures by offering expert counsel, educational advice and managerial assistance.
