January 2017 Labor Trends 

Palm Beach County's January unemployment rate of 5.2% is up from the December rate of 4.7% reflecting a net loss of 4,394 jobs.

However, continued employment growth for Palm Beach County is indicated by the 2.8 percentage increase in the number of total non-agricultural jobs during the last twelve months.  This represents a net gain of 16,700 
jobs.
