CareerSource Palm Beach County announced today that the county’s unemployment rate for September 2016 is 5.1 percent – down from 5.2 percent compared to a year ago and unchanged from August. Florida’s unemployment rate is 5.0 percent and the national rate is 4.8 percent (all numbers not seasonally adjusted), according to reports released today by CareerSource Palm Beach County and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.
