(NYSE:UTX), a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units will expand its operations in Palm Beach County.

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB), in cooperation with Enterprise Florida, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Palm Beach County and the City of Palm Beach Gardens, is pleased to announce that United Technologies, the world’s largest provider of building technologies, will add 100 new jobs at its new $115 million, 224,000-square-foot UTC Center for Intelligent Buildings, located at 13995 Pasteur Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens.

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB), in cooperation with Enterprise Florida, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, and the City of West Palm Beach, is pleased to announce that Belcan, a global supplier of engineering, technical recruiting, and IT services, will expand operations in Palm Beach County, creating 200 new jobs. The company currently employs approximately 600 Floridians throughout the state. This expansion will be an investment of over $3 million in the Palm Beach County community.

(BDB) has once again been recognized as one of 58 economic development organizations internationally accredited by IEDC as an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO). Originally accredited in 2007, the organization was reaccredited by IEDC following 9 successful years of activity as an AEDO member.
