The perception of the manufacturing industry is often mistaken as traditional factories with assembly-lines. That's simply not the case in Palm Beach County. This area is home to companies that manufacture some of the nation's most cutting-edge products. It's a driver for innovation and the technologically advanced job opportunities are endless.

Palm Beach County’s diverse manufacturing cluster includes sophisticated aviation and marine components, biomedical devices, pharmaceuticals, IT hardware and software, construction products, food products, biometric technologies, solar panel manufacturing, and 3D printing. There are over 20,900 manufacturing jobs with average earnings of $76,179


Manufacturing companies recognize that Palm Beach County's competitive advantages make it an ideal location for their operations. Over the past five years, the BDB facilitated over 3,700 new and retained manufacturing jobs, and over $191.5 million in new capital investment through more than 35 relocation and expansion announcements of manufacturing projects that occupy more than 1.1 milion square feet.
