MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

I am pleased to announce that the BDB has facilitated the addition of two prestigious companies to Palm Beach County’s business community:  The fast-growing Chicago-based investment advisory and financial planning firm Cresset Wealth Advisors and the global manufacturer Mueller Industries, Inc. will both open offices at CityPlace Tower in Downtown West Palm Beach.

Cresset Wealth Advisors, which has surpassed $2 billion in assets under management in less than a year, is an extraordinarily successful fee-only advisory firm choosing to put down roots in Palm Beach County to add further value for its clients.  This will be Cresset’s second-ever location, the latest example of financial services firms attracted to the Flagler Financial District in Downtown West Palm Beach.

The Business Development Board assisted Cresset with a site search, expedited permitting through the City of West Palm Beach, and additional services. Business Development Board member Robert Hamman of Sperry Van Ness helped to broker the lease.

Mueller Industries, Inc., a 100-year-old Fortune 1000 company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, is locating its international division at CityPlace Tower.  Mueller is a global leader in manufacturing and distribution of copper tube and fittings, brass and copper alloy, aluminum and brass fixtures, fittings and other products.   Operations are located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, China and Great Britain.   Mueller is a multi-billion-dollar revenue company that is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (MLI).

The Business Development Board provided information, facilitated meetings and expedited permitting.

Palm Beach County’s favorable tax structure, booming business ecosystem, international airports, concentration of affluent residents and unmatched lifestyle create the ideal environment for attracting, building and multiplying wealth, and operating global corporations.

It’s clear that the smart money is moving to the welcoming business landscape of The Palm Beaches.
