LAKE WORTH BEACH, FLA - The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, in cooperation with the City of Lake Worth Beach, is pleased to announce the expansion of Capzer Pharmaceuticals, a world-class cGMP testing and development laboratory. Capzer will create 10 new jobs to its existing workforce of scientists and will expand to include pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities to their services.

The facility is spread across a 12,000 sq. ft. area in Marlin Commerce park that includes large capacity blenders, encapsulation machines, extensive in-house testing capabilities, and efficient packaging lines. The new expansion will be 8,000 sq. ft. of space in the building next door, located at 3677 23rd Ave in Lake Worth Beach and is expected to have a capital investment of $8 million.

Capzer Pharmaceuticals offers services to support drug, OTC, and dietary supplement formulation and development across various segments in the form of oral liquids, powders, sachet, injectable, capsules, syrups, and tablets. The company has plans to expand capabilities through investment in human resources, infrastructure, and technology.

"We are dedicated to improving the human health and quality of life. We are truly grateful to BDB of Palm Beach County for their excellent support," said Dr. Naim, President & CEO of Capzer Pharmaceuticals. "They also connected us with a funding source to finance the project and also assisted in expedited permitting through the City of Lake Worth Beach, a feature that saved the company from a nine month process."

Kelly Smallridge, President & CEO of the BDB, said, “Capzer will bring additional pharmaceutical development and manufacturing capabilities to Palm Beach County and is the perfect addition to the growing local life sciences industry.”

“On behalf of the City Commissioners of Lake Worth Beach, I am thrilled to welcome the expansion of Capzer Pharmaceuticals with their new employees, innovations, and talent! The confidence exhibited by this life science business choosing to grow here speaks volumes to how far the City has come in recent years,” states Lake Worth Beach Mayor Pam Triolo. “We offer a top in class experience oriented towards timely approvals and consistent high level of service.
