September 25, 2020 – BOYNTON BEACH, FL – The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) is pleased to announce the expansion of the Palm Meadows Thoroughbred Training Center in suburban Boynton Beach.
The Stronach Group, owners of the Palm Meadows Thoroughbred Training Center, have submitted plans for the construction of a multi-million dollar expansion project, that when completed, will add four new 88 stall horse barns that will increase stable capacity by 25% to 1,720 stables. The construction will also include the development of two new 52 room grooms’ quarters and will create an estimated 375 new jobs. Principal construction is expected to begin at the end of 2020 pending all approvals.

Palm Meadows Thoroughbred Training Center is a state-of-the-art Thoroughbred racehorse training facility located on 286 acres just outside Boynton Beach. The training surfaces consist of a 1 1/8-mile main track (100' wide), a 7/8-mile turf track (176' wide) and a one-mile, L-shaped jogging track (80' wide), which borders the main track. The surfaces of the tracks are similar to that of Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, also owned by The Stronach Group, a world-class technology, entertainment and real estate development company with Thoroughbred racing and pari-mutuel wagering at the core.
