Today, summer interns from across the Nation learned about Palm Beach County’s economy in the Business Development Board’s boardroom. The first-of-its-kind “BDB Lunch and Learn Intern Series” invited summer interns from BDB member organizations to gain a fresh perspective on the area’s business climate. The event included interns from companies such as BDO, Belcan, Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, Colliers International, Garcia Stromberg, Greenberg Traurig, HBK CPAs & Consultants, Holland & Knight, Kimley-Horn, NAI Merin Hunter Codman, Oxbow Carbon, Palm Beach County, SBA Communications, Sharp Communications, Verdex Construction, and Wells Fargo.

Two Palm Beach County-based manufacturing companies received statewide recognition at the Governor’s Sterling Awards Banquet in Orlando on May 31. Habilitation Center of Boca (HABCO), located in Boca Raton, and Lockheed Martin, located in Riviera Beach, were both “2019 Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence” winners, a portion of the banquet devoted to awarding business excellence in manufacturing.
